​Most people who go overseas bring back a t-shirt or maybe a snow globe as a souvenir. But not Matt Flynn, Recreation Ranger from South Marlborough. He wanted to bring back something a little more useful after his 2008 fire fighting deployment to the US.

Fire personnel need to attain competency in their rural fire position. Training is generally undertaken by private training providers. The NRFA is involved with the training industry to develop rural fire training resources and audit training standards.
